my 98 gsr is showing code P0113,meening intake air temperature circuit high input.....I have already tried swaping my friends intake air temp sen.out with mine and tried clearing the codes but no luck what would be causing this to happen but,most inportantly how would i go about solving this?

 

You've already swapped the sensor, so now you gotta check the wiring from there back to the ECM. That can be a pain, get a DMM & look for shorts or opens.

 

yeah i had the same code in my ls for a while...its some sorta loos conection in ur map sensor or a vaccum leak...check all the vaccum lines for pinched hoses or holes or loose conections

 

The IAT sensor works by changing resistance in a circuit. A high input code would indicate that either the sensor is unplugged or there's a break in the wire causing an infinite amount of resistance.
