What do you think about carbon fiber vinyl sheet?
hey guys,
im thinking about changing my interior trims...
i just dont wanna paint them and mess up
obviously, real cf is really expensive,
but how about the carbon fiber vinyl sheet?
they are like $20 for 4feet...
is there anybody used it?

the previous owner painted the whold interior and its terrible.. really..
if i paint again, i am 100% sure that mine will be worse than now matter of time..
any ideas?

dude...do not do the ricey vinly cf. thats whorrible. lol. hmm...get a good interior paint, soak/wash the paneling and stuff with simple green, get red or gray scotch brite pads, go over everythign with them, and paint. make sure you have good ventilation and proper breathing apparel. should only cost you like 30 bucks for everything...
Forget carbon fiber vinyl sheet. Go to a Fabric shop and pick up the colors that you want in vinyl it is relatively cheap and use that to redo the interior. Take your time it looks clean when done right.

i couldnt agree with him more, if all you can do is paint it then do it, its really not that hard, replacing the panles and most likely the dash can get very pricy, so just make sure you take your time and do it right, GOOD LUCK

i might be selling the interior of a crx....and my buddy is.....check ebay or honda classifieds. or you could just repaint the whole interior, just take your time and it will look great, i promise. paint quality is 99% prep, 1% paint

I cleaned it and used paint stripper, which if I ever have to do it again I will not use paint stripper. It just causes more bad then good. I sanded the rough spots, then I spray painted it. I did not use any clear coat.
