I have a weird one for you studs... Here is the quick background, automatic tranny was swapped out to a new one by an incompetent shop. They wound up creating more problems that they fixed. Here is the issue:

Start the car up, drop the E-brake, the brake light (on the dash) turns off like it should... the second you shift it into gear (any gear incl. reverse), the brake light turns on. But the brake light will NOT turn on when in neutral. After driving a few mins, the ABS light turns on.
Here the kicker though, if the car is in gear w/ the brake light on and then the door is opened, the brake light turns off. Is this car possessed or what??
Any info/input would be greatly appreciated. If there is a way to check the ABS for codes, please point me in the right direction...
