this afternoon i went to a local alignment shop to do 4 wheels alignment and John from advanced motorsport in richmond told me that i have -0.9 and 0 camber on my driver side..... and he said that my LF knucle and LR trailing arm is damaged....
Here is a pic of the alignment result.
just wondering
are the knuckle and trail arm really damaged? how do i inspect them? can i just simply add camber kit to solve the problem? or perhaps this is a really serious problem i should fix right the way.
my suspension setup
hr OE spring lower .75
koni yellow
itr rear sway bar

Your camber is within specs according to those limits.
They are not matching, which is okay. They never match once your lowered even a bit.
Just by the numbers there is not way to tell if the arm is damaged or not.
I would think if the arms are bent or damaged your toe and caster would be out of spec. Camber has little to do with it since it is non adjustable. take a look at your arms for marks that something big hit it.
Good Luck

thanks for all the replies,
actually i think my left LF camber is fine 0.9 sounds reasonable for a 0.75inch drop.... the RF is ridiculous, -1.8.... could it be a blown shock that is effecting the camber?

Wouldn't it pull badly with the camber that much different from side-to-side? Is there a chance that the measurement was wrong?
I don't think a blown shock would do that. Shock is just for damping, it doesn't control suspension geometry like a McPherson strut does.

i don't think ur car is lowered enough to have that much -ive camber...
u know how low is my Civic (about 2" drop)...i had only about the same -1.4 (for LF) and -1.7 (for RF) camber (diff more than 0.5 the car should pull to one side)!
as for the rear...i think the trailing arm affects toe more...camber might affect a little ONLY....w/ 0 degree i would think sth like rear LCA
did u accidently jack up ur car there?

If the car is dropped and yet the LR camber is straight up 0, I would suspect something is damaged. I would also suspect something damaged with the front camber being that far off between left and right. My car is sitting at -2.3 on both sides in front and -1.9/-2.1 in back, so you see they should be fairly close if not equal, otherwise you should suspect damaged parts. Do you know if the car has been wrecked on the left side ever?
btw, i had my alignment done at Advance too
so does quite a few of my friends
here is my reading (updated reading on prev post)
LF Caster 1.3 RF Caster 1.0
LF Camber -1.4 RF Camber -1.7
LF toe 0.05 RF Toe 0.05
LR Camber -2.2 RR Camber -2.6
LR Toe 0.1 RR Toe 0.1

thanks Eric(5zigen),
hmm, reagarding my LR camber, I did ask a shop to raised the perch on my koni yellow back to stock height and ever since that I constantly heard noise when i apply hand brake coming from my LR side... If true that toe (LCA) affects the camber I think that is where the problem is....
And just last sunday after autox I found out that my RF koni yellow has some sort of oil leak and perhaps I did actually hit something cuz these shocks are only six months old.
I will pull out the RF shock to see if there is any visual damage, And for the first time I will do mine own installation.....
And renistall the LR shocks and LCA to see if it was proper install...if not, I will fix it myself.
Trust nobody when working on my baby ....

Holy crap why is your rear camber SOOO much more?! My rear fender arch is maybe 1/8" lower than my front fender arch, but I still have less camber in back. Also the rear is nearly 3" lower than stock and I only have -1.9/-2.1 camber, no camber correction. Why is yours so far out?
