ok here's my deal...

i'm planning on buying an-r's street header for my h22. now the thing is, i can't justify spending an extra $180 for a ceramic coating.

my question for you guys is, can i use that 1200° high temp paint on the header?

what other solutions are there? i don't the header to look like raw materials. i want to paint it a dark gray, or even black.
