Default tokico performance

hello everyone,
currently i am running H&R sport springs 2" front drop, 1.75" rear drop, with (now blown) stock(crap) struts. I just bought a set of tokico performance struts. I was just reading a thread about the koni yellows and someone mentioned that the tokico's weren't tough enough for the accords??????? Is that true or b.s.????? not that i can do much about it now, just peace of mind!!!
thanx for any inputs!

It's true.

BTW, stock shocks are not crappy, they are very good and durable. The only reason they failed is because you dropped the car, and these shocks are not made for that. They are designed for stock ride height. This is why you need to replace them now.

i'm definitely aware that the orig. shox are good, however they just didn't handle/corner the way i want the car to be set up, hence the drop, the springs and the need for some aftermarket help in the strut department!

I ran tokico's for 2 years and had no problems. The a chord was also 4 1/2 inches down. The illumina's held up better than i ever expected. Maybe I just got lucky but I thought they were great...

I'm running Tockico Illuminas with Eibach springs, and couldn't be happier. This set-up made a world of difference in the way the car looks and rides.

Doesn't the tokico shocks say you shouldn't go over a 1.75" drop? Thats what I heard and thats why I went with the koni's.
