GSR....Best car for NOS???
I was just wonderin if this is true. I have heard people and some friends talk about GSR's being the best car to run with NO2 systems. Is this true??? If it is, how many shots should it run that it wouldn't blow up the engine or mess up the motor???
You need to start doing your research away from your friend's First of all it is N20 and second of all you dont run "shot's" you run a single shot (this is not the world of the fast and the furious) NOS builds a plate system for the GSR it is a wet system in a fogger design that bolts in the middle of the manifold. The maximum shot I would recommend on a B18C1 is 75hp. This is conservative because I have seen people run a 120 shot on stock internalls but they also took the proper precaution's too be able to do this.
if you were to do this system I would recommend you retard the timing to 14 deg. btdc and use a 8 range plug along with 91+ gas and an rpm activated window switch which Allows it to run between 3500 and 8000 rpm.
