Default My turbo project woes

Oh woe is me. The turbo install that was gonna take me 3 months is now coming up on it's 1 year anniversary. Partly it's my fault cause i was gonna do a mild setup, but then i said to myself if your gonna do it do it right. But doing it right requires money and a bit of it. And me not having any i just charged it, another brilliant idea. Oh yeah i didn't mention that i would have been driving my car 2 months ago if it weren't for me find out last minute that i got sent the wrong block. Cliff notes version of that story.... bought a sleeved block, was supposed to be a DOHC ZC, turns out to be a SOHC ZC, and yes they're different. Now waiting for replacement block to send both back and get the correct one resleeved.

My first woe is my small *** garage, i can barely move around in that **** box.

My lovely stripped interior that seems will never be back in the car
another sight i'm used to seeing, my totally bare engine compartment
TRhis is where my incorrect engine lies, waiting for the other to arrive to be sent away
I got bored so i redid my rear interior
Like my pool table, it's become a workbench. And there are a ton of parts underneath it, just waiting...and waiting....
My own port job on my cylinder head, not to shabby. IM is port matched

Why am i posting this you may ask, i say why the hell not, i've got nothing else to do.WAAAAAAAH!!!! It really blows cause i put in my buddy's B16 for him, he got it painted, it's running grerat. And my other buddy has got his B16'd CRX up and going, all freshly painted and looking sweet. And there lies my little hatch, still two tone from my new fenders and the skim coat on the dings. OH WOE IS ME. I wanna here everyone elses crap stories on there turbo builds. It'll make me feel better.

well there resleeving the new one for free obviously and there installing my internals and sending it back to me for my inconvenience. They were actually pretty cool with me. I think the key was i didn't cop an attitude like i should get what i want, when i want ,and now. I explained the situation, made my request. He accepted. Now it's just playing the waiting game.

man, don't worry i've been doing my buildup for a long time as well, and my garage is about the same size, so i know where your coming from. i'm just happy i have a garage now. theres nothing worse then looking at your car but not being able to work on it! or have no place to do it. i know how you feel, it sucks looking at your car and not being able to enjoy it. hang in there though it'll all be worth it....

Well I am not having a ton of problem yet, but soon enough I am sure I will hit another delay.

I got to change manifold now after I got all my parts, as I realize it will not fit the turbo I have underhood.

Good luck bro, and yeah I got about 2 ft of working room in my garage too... sucks.

I can't tell if that's supposed to be said with sarcasm or not, but yes it will be my daily driver. But for the time being my speed fix is being delt with my GSXR. And actually i have a 90 Nissan 300zx under that car cover in the first pic, but it's only a NA. But that friggin car handles like nothing i've ever driven before. But alas it will be going up for sale soon, so if anyone is interested let me know.
