I was just curious as to what you guys would think of this set-up?

Comptech springs with OEM ITR shocks or KYB AGX or Tokico Iluminas?

I don't plan on really doing and track or auotcrossing, its bascially an everday driver.

any opinion would be apprecitated. thanx

 

also have a set of ITR springs that i could use for my setup.

 

get the KYB's. they're great shocks and they'll handle the drop of the comptech springs without a problem. with the ITR shocks you'd have to get new LCA's, too. i haven't heard a whole lot about the illuminas, but i think most people think the AGX's are better.

 

I would get the Illumina's, they are a good shock with a low cost. They will ride quite a bit better than the KYB AGX's.

 

not bad except I would get koni yellows rather than kyb for easier dampening adjustability and height adjustability option.

I have eibach prokit and koni yellows and I think its a great combo. I was also considering the comptech with the yellows and the h&r sport with yellows.

 

If you don't plan on autoX or anything like that then I doubt you'll really need the adjustable shocks, especially since they're expensive! But if you're looking for the adjustability, the AGX's are pretty decent for the price.

Othen than that, the set-up you first suggested would be sufficient for a daily driver.
