MPFI question, what plug goes to the EACV? A white one or a green one?
I just read you are supposed to extend your EACV wires, I never did. I never even thought of it. I looked at my car today and I have a green plug no plugged into anything and it's way too short to reach the EACV, instead I have a white plug that did reach plugged into the EACV. Was that green one supposed to be the one to go there??? Maybe that is why I am throwing a EACV code!
Hmm alot of the plugs look the same, you know? Try switching em, I guess. Did you do a DPFI conversion? Remember, the that conversion leaves one plug unused that the MPFI motors don't use. You may be mixing up IAT sensor and IACV plugs.
I had my IAT sensor plug and (some other one I can't remember) switched, and I switched them back and it fixed it. But I have this one long white one, and the short green one. I am wondering if that green one was supposed to be extended. I want to make sure before I pull the engine harness back off cuz that is a bitch to do sometimes.
Ok so anyone who has done this will you please save my cars life and go look at your own wiring and tell me does this green plug right here (not extended, yet)...
Need to be extended and plugged into the EACV where this white one currently is...
PLEASE let me know, because to extend it I have to pull out the entire engine harness cuz its too small down there to solder, and I don't feel like doing all that if it isn't going to work, so do me the small favor and look.
Also if it helps
Green plug = black/yellow, and blue/yellow wiring going to it
White plug = orange, black/yellow wire going to it

I found that topic and it says Green plug goes to EACV, but can anyone confirm this? And what is IACV? Same thing or is it something else???

Yeah I went and took out my engine harness earlier today and extended the green plug and put it in the EACV and now my car no longer has a jumping idle. It does go to 4000RPMs and stick but that is because I switched the cylinder sensor wires, I'm sure if I switch them back it will be normal.
