Yesterday in the northeast we had a thunderstorm.
Me being stupid that night, I had to go out to burger king to get something to eat.
Well I was driving and my car started to stall.
It did but it started back right up, just that it wouldn't go higher than 2500 rpm.
I parked it down, and let it cool down.
Started it right up and let it warm up till the temp was hot.
What do you guy think happened.
I checked my intake tube and there was just a little water.
I mean It runs good now and there are no knocks.
I am just a little pissed because although it is a d15b2 I just got it swapped in back in november when my first d15 blew up!
Should I just take out the plugs check it out, put it back in and drive
it seemed normal at least!

normally condensation gets on the dizzy causing misfire....
until the dizzy doesnt get dry the car sputters...
if u hydro lock it the engine locks.,,, u maybe havent suck much water unless u got a CAI without a bypass vavle....
if it runs fine now....nevermind it.. but keep an eye on futture symptoms....

If you were to hydrolock it, it would be filled with gas not water. If it is running now then that didnt happen. If it does, pull all four plugs out, crank it, and watch gas shoot everywhere. Been there, done that.

I was scared about hydrolocking because I do have a CAI and the plastic that goes under the fender ripped off while I was driving.
It drives fine now and pulls normally.
any more tips?
