Can you guys tell me what you think about the tenzo seats. Style and performance wise. Thanks alot

 

I have heard that they arent that great, my friend ordered a set and they came pre ripped for him but they replaced it with a new, good seat.

 

i asked this same question one time and got responses saying that they pretty much suck. poor quality, etc. basically i think its one of those deals, you get what you pay for....

 

The older ones, used very poor die, the seats would fade by sunlight easily, I've been told that they have fixed this problem, but not sure. Hope that helped.

 

I actually sat in one at the race shop when I was getting my broadway rear view, and they suck. They weren't comfortable at all and the only adjustment is the recline switch. They're priced right but I wouldn't buy them.

 

Ihave a set of Type R ones, i think thats what the model is. Anyway, one day the frame broke on them and the side of the seat was all floppy and nasty. The side rails were also quite high and uncomfortable. So I called up Tenzo, bitched a little bit and before I knew it I had 2 brand new seats. They stopped making the ones I had, the newr ones had lower side rails and were quite nice. The people there were very nice, but I think the seats are kinda crappy.

 

i don't know about Tenzo and their racing seats - being that the seats are a part of the safety of the car, I would be hesitant to going out and buying a product just for the low price. yeah, they may look nice but "don't judge a book by its cover". I sat in the Tenzo R seats as well and didn't like them...

How are the sliders and brackets for the seats?
