Do Front and Rear Strut Bars make a big diff???
since my ride has been dropped 2" on koni w/ gc, and 17x7.5 rims, it handles real nice on turns and overall handling as well... however, ive really been looking into getting front and rear strut bars... Do they actually improve handling on a further level? how much better??? they worth it?
Upper tower bars will make a bit of a difference as they do stiffen the chassis a little more. There is no need for anything underneath. You money is better spent on a stiffer sway bar in the rear. My setup includes Koni shocks w/Neuspeed Sport springs, Upper bars and a Neuspeed rear sway bar. I run 16x7 w/RE730s. The car is very tight cornering at speed.
mine made a HUGE difference.
but 2 things.
1. i got cusco bars which are the only really stiff bars i've ever seen. All the ebay, DC sports, etc are floppy pieces of crap (even my friend's spoon one seemed a little soft). Custom ones should be nice and stiff too.
2. i drive a 3g, which is pretty floppy to begin with
