Are the HF cluster the same as the Si's with just a different redline on the tach.
I am asking this because I am thinking about puting the "indiglo gauges" to changer the redline. I am sure this has been talked about befor so if anyone has a link it would be appreciated.

Yes, theyare the same with the exception of the red line on the tach.
Also the Si does not have the shift up light, so you'll end up covering that light with the indiglows.
I put a 91 CRX Si cluster on my 90 HF, plug and play.

xsellxoutx: you posted a 88 hf cluster, and 90-91 si/dx indiglos (Just so you know).
Yeah, the hf has a shift light for fuel economy, flashes at 2.5K rpm about. Ryan
I am fairly sure that the hf face on the 88 are different between the si/dx, and the hf. However even if it is, you can just trim it, because it will be hidden anyways.
I know for certain that the 88 hf, and the 89 si have different tach face plates (behind the plastic).

CA-emissions HFs dont have the shiftlight, i have a 88 Cali HF no light. my other 88 HF did (it was rusty so its probly not a cali car). btw i like my 5K redline, the red lets me know that the 'driving conditions' my get me in trouble
the shift light on the HF's is just a green little up arrow. I never really cared enough about what the tach says to change it. It works fine and that is good enough for me. Although I can bury the needle past 8k.
