well .....i come to find there has been a rat in my A/c system .....
it started to smell funky about two weeks ago ...but i thought nothing of it ...just figured too many been buritto's ...seats need a good vacuming ...

until i turn on my a/c yesterday ....cause my g/f was in the car ....then the cabin fills with dust ...and stinks like ****

i take out fan blower ....the evaporator cover ..and fan cover ..and find a hole crap load of debris ...and stinky *** rat hair ....

how the hell did that rat get in there ....is there an entry point somewhere in the firewall ..were a decent sized rat could get in ..or out ?

please help .....

i got it all back together ..and cleaned up ..but i'm afraid of this happening again

Reminds me of a story. A friend of mine was working on a car. He went looked under the dash, and saw that all the wires had been chewed off. Later on, he removed the passenger seat, and there was a rat, chilling by a buger king bag. We took pics, it was some funny ****.

 

I know this guy who had an el camino,well anyways he goes to start it one day it starts up funny.Next thing you know a **** loud of hair starts flying out of everywhere,he later found out it was a cat sleeping under the hood.

 

All I gotta say to that is ... wow

Well Steve, you could hire Whitesnake to eat the rat. (If I only had a Whitesnake pic to post) Anyway, sorry to hear about your rat problem but maybe if you had better storage the rats wouldnt get in there.

Set rat traps in your garage (or wherever you leave your car). Better yet, call the exterminators.

its been in the garage ...but usually take it out everyweekend .....i cant find any kinda info on how it could get in ....does anybody have aHELM's manual ....that can look it up
