I'm going to change my tranny fluid for the first time and I am wondering if there is a filter that is easily replaced and if it is necessary to change it with a fluid change? if so, how do i get to it and what do i need to replace (gaskets, etc...)?

you usually don't replace the filter of the at trans, its internal. they are usually life time filters.

 

it is just a screen in the tranny but you gotta take the tranny apart to do it just change the oil often
