Lenso?

thanks for the opinions.
my friend's dad owns the Lenso corporation, so i can get a pretty good deal on some. I want 16's, but theyre sayin itd be easier for me and them to get some 17s. I can get them for $90 each(obviously not including tires) as opposed to the retail $180-per (any style).
i think its a pretty good deal, although i have better things in mind to spend my money on (engine mods), you think i should take the deal?
Im thinkin about putting some Nitto's on (not sure what exact type), just because i like Nitto's quality, and Toyo is usually a bit more costly. Im lookin for tires under $100 that will fit 17x7". Any suggestions? thanks in advance

Lenso rims are made in Thailand
Personally, I don't like their designs, and their rims are heavyish..
But the quality is good - and they're exporting what they make to people around the world.
They even have a new line of rims - 20-22" size - people with CRVs and SUVs are rocking them. And at the Thailand International Motorshow a month ago, they had a new type of rim which has an outer layer that spins - and keeps on spinning, even though the wheels aren't. I laughed at it, but a lot of the old people thought it was cool.

Those rims are extremely popular in the US w/SUV Luxury car owners.
There was a wall of them spinning at IAS
