Spoon Battery, Stay Set and Earth Code
Checking around information on the Spoon battery mod. Has anyone done this on an S2000? Sounds like there is some weight savings, but does it justify the price? Also, I heard there was no CCA listing on these batteries, but has anyone had any firsthand experience with this battery on a daily driver.
I've read the posts about it on the ITR forum so I have an idea about the battery, but haven't heard of any s2 drivers that have made this change.
U can see the battery here. (it's under electronics)

skip the spoon battery idea. pick up an oddessy battery, which will shave off 15lbs from the front end. its probably a lot cheaper too. they are very tiny.
here's one in here. you can almost see just how small it is. and it works very very well, as much as a battery can.

considering that with Spoon products you are simply paying a premium for the name it doesn't seem like a 'great' idea. The stock battery tie down weighs very little to begin with and the price premium seems absurd to save 2 ounces. Actually, really absurd. Earth Code? $0.30/ft of wire and (5) $0.05 terminals are costing you half of what the overpriced battery does? What a racket.
With a wire crimper, a dremel, a lightweight gel cell battery($100 or less), and less than $5 wire you would probably get better product.
