Im gonna be running a TD04e garrett turbo, i just wanna know what everyone thinks i should do first, i got a b18c; should i get a head gasket or pistons first etc.
just kinda wanna hear what other people think?

 

well if its pistons vs. headgasket, pistons would be the better way of lowering compression. more costly though. i say go with a headgasket until you need the pistons. just get it tuned well.

 

You my friend need to really sit down and spend some time searching all the different forums to answer your questions!! Think of it this way would you buy a car without looking @ it NO so would you buy a turbo without knowing what you would need to make it work properly??

 

its not that i dont know, i'm deciding on what first....just wanna hear some different opinions thats all. cause im personally and more likely to do is the head gasket first but i just wanna hear other people out and what they think.

 

I think you should do nothing first and do everything all at one time.
