Their is this guy around my area where I go to college selling a 88 crx with the following modifications: Ls engine with rebuilt top end, t3 turbo with front mount intercooler(mit starion), 17" chrome rims( I know I know), skunk2+kyb, and the paint job looks very recent its painted a dark orange and this rex has no dents on it from the pictures I seen. He is asking $3000 for it and he told me it runs but I'm not sure. Even if it doesn't run do you think I should buy it or not. I need some advice fellows. He said it needs some work. I believe their is no interior really in the car like seats but their is a dash. I just don't want to buy another persons creation that has a bunch of problems.

 

well find someone you trust to inspect the body work. this takes skill, so ask around and see who you know. seriously, if the shell is in immaculate condition, then it is worth 3000 without a motor at all, IMO. if you dont like the motor setup, part it out and start fresh. but on a car thats as "rare" as the crx, one really values a good body.
