I got my valve cover powder coated... check it out

not bad... coulda been more careful to not paint over things like the valve breather nipple and top of where the oil cap goes n stuff... but not bad... how does it look in person? and how much was it to get done?

yeah i know, i figured when i gave it to the guy he would know not to do those things but he did, it works though... i paid 60 total, 45 for the red and 15 for highlighting the letters... it looks 200 times better in person. The pics don't do it justice!!

Hmmm, cute site. Gotta love alcheezas.
So wait, you had your valve cover sand blasted first? Know what sucks about that? The baffle on the under-side of the valve cover is nearly impossible to clean all the sand out of.
So if you spin your berings or your rings go bad all of a sudden, you'll know why-- becuase you have a bunch of sand circulating throughout your engine.

trust me, i blew that valve cover out so good its not even funny with my air compressor. that things was spotless when i installed it. im gonna run it for a couple days then change the oil. it won't do anything... its not like there is a god damn beach in there or something!!! who do you think i am?!?!

First thanks to STN_Pat for posting my pics of the valve cover... to JasonBlack... that is pretty good. I like the wrinkle look. I would have left it alone but it was peeling off in the front and powder coating will last alot longer. Im not dissing what you did cause it was really cool but powder coating gives it a different look and i won't have to worry about it later on down the road
