Legend caliper upgrade
I heard that the if you do this upgrade, you should only replace the front calipers cause the rear legend calipers have a single piston like the factory ludes do. is this true? also do you have to make shims for the brake pads to work properly or can you just use legend pads on vtec rotors? another question, OT, i heard since the 96 lude is obdII, you can't advance the timing by twisting the distributor cap. is this also true? thanks for your time
Legend calipers work fine if you have a VTEC lude..
I know on the 5th gen you can't adjust the timing manually, don't know about the 1996 OBD2 prelude though.

you CAN adjust the timing on a 5th gen, just the base timing though, you have to jump the service connector to do it. but it throws everything out of wack, and the computer tries to adapt all the other conditions to go back to factory settings, so you really won't gain anything
