Default which tranny?

which tranny is better for a all motor set up? I got a b16a sir2 and was wondering if I should keep the b16 tranny or go with a b18c?

also, is $2000 for a b16a w/ gsr tranny a good price? later.

im not really sure on this, but i can tell you that the 3rd gear of the gsr seems kinda long, i had it till i broke it. if u have the money i would get the itr, i likk shorter gears, for me it helped me get up there quicker thats my experiences from a gsr tranny to the itr tranny. plus for all motors, from what i was told u can takk it or leave it, but lsd would be a wise thing. hope yu this information was much of use

oh hell yes...hands down KEEP THE B16A tranny!
A GSR tranny's ratios are too long for the B16's powerband.

$2000 is almost the price you can pay for a complete B16A W/B16 tranny from almost any import engine selling place. But a GSR tranny is still a VTEC tranny and $2000 would still be a good price as long as its a 92+ B16 engine. If I were you, I'd find a B16 w/B16 tranny, just because the gearing is better.

thanks for the input guys. Yes, the ITR tranny will be the best choice but unfortunately I'm on a short budget oh well, the gsr tranny will do for now.

Dohc93hatch, nice avatar! Can you super size it?

you could try and find an OEM HYDRO (jdm) B16 tranny w/LSD.
