yes actually that is what i am intending to do, since my buddy kengs tells me on butt dyno the ARC pulls harder than the AEM CAI, i will hopefully do a dyno comparision sometime later this year, when i also get the matching chamber piping

The box & chamber together are actually lighter than the stock intake (box & air hose, not including resonator).

ARC = no chance of hydrolocking (unless you drive into a lake).

Leo, does your box have 1 or 2 filters?

mines have one filter i believe. i may have to open it up and see again, why is the bottom filter seperate?? how is there two filters??

It's not "ram air" but it does seem to help.

 

hmm.....mine has only one duct. doesn't have it at the bottom. i must have an old design??

EK models have 2 filters

How much does the ARC box cost? and that look like something that requires a hoodscoop?

 

eg6ajk had his in there with the stock hood. its basically the same size as your stock airbox is. as one of my friend likes to call it, its a "glorified stock air box" hehe
