pour some oil in the turbo....and then blast some shop air into there....you'll hear that mother spool....haha....If blew into a turbo, I'd prolly try so hard that I would pass out..haha

You should try a vaccum cleaner to pull the compressor wheel. It makes the cool whiiine sound! Put oil in the bearing housing 1st tho.

or shop air through the WG hole... that gets it going nicely.. hehehe

or, just finish the install and use the engine to spool it!

well if I blow on the comp housing it spins even harder. ehehehe.
but yeah I vote for the last one..finish my damn install..for the love of all holy honda's..... im never going to install it.

GT30?

On our shop SR20 using the GT30, we would idle the car down for about a minute, then shut it off. The compressor wheel would spin for about 25-30 seconds unassisted. I wish we had a DV cam

compared to a regular bearing turbo..the thing spins so effortlessly.

you dont knoww how many "takes" it took to do that without laughing.

Still amazes me with our dual ball bearing, you look back at the motor 30 seconds after shutting it off and think hey it's still running cuz the turbo is just spinning away.
