Default Got the first step in my slow but rewarding swap process!!

Just got a PR3 computer for a very good price!

Anyone ever use Katmann from JDMHondaParts.com to do any of their computer tuning?

I am probably going to talk to them and send the computer out when I get the funds to get one of his programs ..... just checking to see if anyone has any experience with them.

Katmann has a PR3 program that will eliminate the second 02 sensor and the knock sensor, and I will be able to choose my x-over and rev limit for $155, so I still think I may go with him, but we'll see what the general consensus is! Thanks for the reply!

Both Joe(Locash) and Katman are very respectable ecu programmers. They have similar programs for around the same amount of money. It is your call. If you need references for them email me.

Thanks guys.

I got hold of Katmann, and I am just waiting to get the cash so I can get it out.

I'm going to get the PR3.MDS program, have the VTEC x-over set at 5,400 (might plan on getting some of the newer Si cams since they are supposed to be a bit better than the 1st gen ones, I have heard, but i'm also completely building the engine, so maybe not ....), rev limit at 9,500 since I will eventually have all the internals built to handle it, having the knock sensor and the second O2 sensor removed from the computer (less of a wiring hassle), and all the usual stuff that comes with the program.

I'm pretty psyched! I just need money ......

If you're gonna get new cams why not get Type r sticks? tried and true, and probably a similar price.

I plan on running much hotter cams (still tossed up between the Spec B's and the Crower 64303's), so getting the newer Si ones (which I have a set lined up for $100) would just hold me over until then.
