rsx type-s rear sway bar to 02 civic?
i have a 02 civic and i know the is for rsx and new civic si forum but i was wondering if any of you guys would know whether or not the rsx type-s rear sway bar will swap over to my car? i was going to try and stay OEM and go from my 13 mm sway bar now to the 19mm sway bar from the type-s. any help would be much appreciated
I got the 22mm DC5R rear sway while my friend's EP3 got my 19mm S rear sway
So, yes, its a straight swap from the DC5 to the EP3 and let bsdbytes said, remember to get the bushings as well

I think this guy is asking about the 'normal' 02 Civic coupe or something.
Do the rear sways still fit on it? I don't see why not, but you never know.

Except for a few visual differences (rotors, lug pattern, springs, etc.), suspension is the same in the rear between all Civics and DC5s. 01 EXs, all 02 Civics get it and 03 EX Civics get 12mm rear anti sway bars. 02/03 Si gets 15mm. Don't know why though cuz the stock bar IMO is so damn bendable does nothing. A 19mm bar is a good upgrade though.
Yeah, it'll fit with no problem at all.

We'll just say:
All rear sway bars for the new generation Civics (ES/EM/EP) and Integras/RSXs (DC5) are interchangable.
The length of the bars are the same.
The holes in them that connect to the endlink are the same.
The shape of the bars are slightly different from each other due to difference in thickness.
No matter which car you have your stock brackets will work with whichever bar you use.
You only need the polyurethane bushings that are made for whichever bar you use.
Hope this clears everything up.

I was there for the swap and let me tell you it did make a BIG difference. We got new bushings and sway bar from Honda. I didn't think it would be that big of deal but it was a good investment. Crazydjr26's civic is probably the best looking new civic coupe I have seen. Look forward to pics of his car along with my R as soon as I get my front end fixed.
Just a word of advice Danny but use punctuation and spell check when posting. I had a little trouble reading your post.

A while ago I talked to this guy through 7thGenCivic.com PMs about ITRs... he appeared to appreciate them as much as I do, and said he had a friend with a PY R. Don't remember his SN but out of coincidence are you that person? Back then my username was soniccivic and I barely go on that site now.

Actually, I just called my Acura and the front is 45 and the rear is 39. Suprisingly cheap coming from Acura!!! Works for me. Im going to get them both today. Anyone have any opinions on strut bars e.i. brand or design wise?
