Default tranny price

the syncros are starting to go out on my gsr tranny...should i just get new synchros? or a used tranny? how much can i find a good used gsr or ls tranny for? and where can i find them?? thanks.

The synchros themselves are cheap, but if you don't do the labor it will cost a bundle. Maybe look into finding a good, used tranny for cheap.

That's why I reccommended the synchros. What if he buys a new tranmission and that has bad synchros too?

Labor is awuful on tranny work because it is not a fun adventure. Dont look in an LS tranny though. Is not what you want ratio wise. I would rebuild yours. You can even change everything to JDM spec or just r spec if you wanted.
