Default Possible to chip a 88-89 ecu?

is it possible to chip a 89 ecu with an ebay chip??? I hear it's not, is this true?
if so, why? and are there any options with a 88-89 ecu?

anybody else, it looks like he can only do 90-91? i emailed him anyways tho.

anybody else know if it can be chipped, and who does it?

88 - 89 ecu's don't have an external eprom. you would have to make a piggy back board and that is just a pain in the ***. so you basicly just have to get a 90 - 91.

ps there are some 89 ecu that have external eproms
