Default b18c1 blocks 94-95 & 96/up any differneces?

is thier differneces between different year b18c1 blocks 94-95 and 96/up
i noticed on newer yr blocks - they dont have oil cooler like the 94-95.
is that only difference or are they basically all the same?

why do you need to know?

as far as I know, gsr crank/rods/pistons are all the same

you ar correct about the oil cooler only on 94-95

itr block is also the same as gsr too

CKF sensor on the crank pulley with a differenct timing belt drive gear.

Different distributor.

EVAP solenoid purge valve relocated to top of manifold from throttle body. Still the same piece, just different spot.

And, lack of the aforementioned oil cooler.

I have to look up other differences.

i know inernally is the same, i was just wondering if externally theres any sensors or anything i need to worry about, since its of obd2 motor.

Depends on what ECU you use.

OBD-I won't look for the CKF sensor. You can use the CKF timing belt driver gear and leave the CKF sensor on there, it won't hurt anything.
