Two Questions - body shop & side skirts
Hey, i will be living in austin, tx this summer (no living expenses and partying!!) and my summer project will be the jdm front end conversion on my supersonic blue gsr. Since i am not from the area...can anyone recommend any good body shops? I'm most interested in quality work...price does matter, but quality is more important to me. Shops in san antonio would work too. Please help a girl out!
Second question...i have decided to go with the regular jdm front cuz the mugen one will leave me with no cash for engine work. The car will look great, but will be SLOW AS **** forever if i go with the mugen kit. It's unfortunate, but that's the way the damn cookie crumbles.
So anyways, what should i do about the shitty black side skirts? What do people do about those if they don't have aftermarket ones? Give me some ideas...

As for the sideskirts - you can always paint-match them. It looks better than the black, IMO. Plus, it'll look cleaner with the JDM front.
But hey, aren't they plastic or something? Will the paint look different on that kinda material? Has anyone done this?
I'm obviously interested in good lines, meaning the black shitty skirts will not look great with the jdm front. GRR.

If the body shop takes all the required steps in properly painting the sideskirts, they should look fine. I had mine painted at my body shop and I had no problems whatsoever.
Be cautious though - I've seen improperly painted skirts and it looks fugly - the paint was cracked, chipped, uneven, not properly color-matched, etc. So make sure that if you DIY or have someone else do it that the job is done right and not half-assed or you'll be sorry.

yup, go for the paint matched sideskirts... and ur right in prioritizing quality before bargain... cuz if ur gonna pay money its a waste to later realize that they did a half *** job and be unsatisfied.
