Well i go to use my 89 CRX Si yesterday and something funny happens to me....its in reverse and the clutch is all the way out, but its not going anywhere...so i ask my sis who i let use the car yesterday and this is what she says "well i was in such a hurry that i forgot to press the clutch when i threw it in reverse." she said make a loud grinding noise and then didn't work....my question to all of you knowledgable peeps on here is what happend and how much???? info as soon as possible who be great

 

if its not going into any gears and theres grinding goin on, it is not a good sign at all, most likely your gona need a new tranny.

 

When i put it into gear the car doesn't go anywhere, but i don't hear any grinding either....COULD it b anythingk like the clutch????

 

When you press the clutch down is there normal resistance or is there no resistance on the clutch peddle
My guess would be something with the tranny is done
Drop the tranny and take a look

 

There is still pressure...we're taking it in soon... guess the ls swap gets put off for another month

 

IF the clutch is working, and you can shift through the gears, but it doesn't go anywhere, check the axles. Make sure they're in the tranny, and not broke.

 

your sister is a stupid ******* ****. and you must be retarded for letting her drive your car. how could u be in such a ******* hurry you forget the clutch? did she have a pregnant person or a dying person she had to rush to the hospital?
tell the dumb bitch to cough up 300 bucks for a new tranny or repairs.. **** that man people are so ******* stupid its not even funny anymore.

 

ok y put off the ls swap if you have a problem like this just buy the ls swap, dont worry about the damn tranny just get the swap, think of it like "its broke so im gonna make it better then it was".

 

ya, just get the swap now, and stop wasting money fixing the old tranny
