I can't find the badge on my roommate's engine which is in his 91 Integra RS. He thinks he has a B18, but I beg to differ and I have read that a D16A8 is actually in the bay. Please let me know.
Thanks-Davey

Thanks, but what is the difference then. I thought that the GS had a better motor than the RS and LS. Also then why is it that there are a lot of rumors going around the net that the 91 RS has a d16A8? I've seen this on multiple sites. It's ******* confusing man! Thankx-Davey

I don't know where you've been hearing those rumors but I've never heard them.
Here is a breakdown of the engines for Integras (non-GSR/TypeR) for you:
90-91 GS/LS/RS = B18A 130 HP (OBD 0)
92-93 GS/LS/RS = B18B 140 hp (OBD 1)
94-95 GS/LS/RS = B18B 142 hp (OBD 1)
96-01 GS/LS/RS = B18B 142hp (OBD 2)
All the GS/LS/RS motors are the same within each model year. The only differences between each model being options/accessories, but NOT engine.

Thanks for clearing everything up. But I was getting those rumors from web sites like http://www.4thgenerationcivic.com and I think http://www.hybridgarage.com as well. They have a spec sheet that gives most of the Integs and Civics since 88. The 90-03 Integ is wrong! Again thanks,
Davey
