I barely hit a curb with my car the other day and messed up my carbon fiber lip. The damage isnt too bad (2 minor jagged cracks near the bottom of the lip). I was wondering if there was any way of repairing the weave or restoring it to look not so noticible. thanks
Well if the weave is messed up..you might Sol....however..take it to a bodyshop and have they fill in the resin..and it will more then likely hide the messed up weave..and look much better. I ve seen a couple friends get theres fixed..and you cant even tell..unless you really look closely.
Good luck

you could do that or you could buy the resin at like TAP plastics or some place like that and do it yourself . the resin is not to hard to work with . just make sure to put it on smooth so that it will be easier to sand . if its only a small spot you are doing you can use a clear coat from a spray can to hit the spot that after you repaired it .
