i have a 2001 honda civic with the d17z1 motor and wondering if any twin cam v-tec heads could bold on to motor. Also wondering about if its possible to convert the car to B18C running gear.

 

No...none of the above is possible. Your best bet is to swap the engine if you want to make that car really fast. The D17 with i/h/e will make your car quicker and fun to drive, but if you wanna go real fast, get a different motor.

Unfortunately, there isn't too much aftermarket support for this motor. Aftermarket Honda tuners just got too busy with the RSX/Si market...atleast that's what I think. For more info, post this in the EG Forum. This is only the RSX/02+ Si forum...

Oh and the EP3 is the new Si (2002-2003) the 2001+ EX Coupe is called the EM2...
