Default ride quality?

im going to purchase some 16" mugen wheels and plan to use a 205/45/16 tire and going to use the stock suspension set up. Does anybody know if the ride quality will get worst and if so how much and will this effect the itr's handling because of the different tire wheel combo and will i sacrafice low end acceleration due to the bigger tires?

I'm running the MF 10's now with Pirelli PZero's. The ride quality is still about the same. The crispness in turning was much better than stock from what I remember. (I had put Dunlop SP5000's on the car for the winter and then switched to the MF10's when I got them).

As for accelleration, I don't know. Feels about the same. I don't drag my car so I couldn't tell you but after about 500 miles, I ran them in my first auto-x and my best time was only behind about 0.2 seconds from PhillyITR. That's with stock suspension, AEM CAI, and the Mugen's (oh and spare tire in the trunk).

It should be a little better handling and feel since you are plus sizing 1 from stock...as far as acceleration, you are going from a 15 lb. 15" wheel to a 12 lb 16" wheel, so if anything it is going to take off quicker due to the less rotational weight....
