First off I have done a search and didn't find the exact answer I am looking for. I am going to be putting a 2000 USDM ITR cat-back exhaust on my '96 GSR 4dr. I was wondering if anyone has done this exact same mod and can give me the EXACT lengths that need to be added to make the ITR exhaust fit. I know the B-pipe must be extended and the muffler tip as well. I am going to be doing this @ my work so I can't just roll my car in and compare them. In other words I want to do this pipe fabrication in the shop and bolt it right up. Thanks for the help and any links you guys can send me....
I only did the axleback part since I already had greddy piping on my old sedan. The muffler will be sitting closer to the wheel (not as far back as the stock muffler) and yes you will need to extend the tip on the rear. You will notice that the coupe exhaust wont bolt up to the same hangers as the sedan. Good luck!

Yes it will bolt up fine. Muffler is tucked in 2 inches.
I have coupe exhaust on my sedan. No mods were needed.

you will need to extend it but you can only extend it after it clears the rear suspension, extending at b pipe will cause you problems with hitting on the rear parts since teh loop goes over them, i extended my right before the muffler and added extensions to my exhaust hangers and everyting is good. not too much work

The reason I said I was going to extend the b-pipe was because I am using a 2000 ITR factory exhaust on a 1996 GS-R sedan. I know for a fact that on coupes you have to extend the b-pipe to make this work cause the ITR exhaust is too short. I might end up laying them side by side to make the modifications. BTW is the piping stainless steel because it looks that way. I don't have a magnet here to check with. It may just be aluminized steel but it sure as heck looks like stainless... I sure wish someone on here and done this and had exact measurements.. Thanks for the help so far.....

Exact measurements won't help you. you are talking 4/5 inches on the b-pipe and the tip extended another 3". What does it matter? You have to go to the muffler shop anyway, and they don't charge by the inch.
good luck. btw- i have a itr exhaust on my db8
