Default tips on fiberglassing interior pieces

i wanna glass alot of my interior, i wanna do my door panels so i can put some nice speaker panel things on them, and my center console, and ebrake piece. maybe some other stuff i dunno yet. but do you guys have any tips of doin this, and if you do, do you have any pics of this done to any car?

You sound like you've never done this before. I would say practice on a bucket, box, beater, something and get the hang of it first.

yah i have done it before ,i just finished my glove box, it was all nasty lookin before, but now its nice and shiny black. i just need some advice on the smaller parts pretty much, im still practicin on stuff, but i mainly want to do my door panels, i need some pics tho, any will do.

yeh ive been all through sounddomain and cardomain, couldnt really find that much, searched on google, ive found some decent pics but i still want more.

o the main question i forgot to ask is....when glassing something like my door or my dash w/ vinyl on it, do i just glass over it or what? this guy on here with an impreza did his , looked like he just glassed over it, he had a step by step thing.

I would try to make some sort of a mold first. From my limited experiences it seems like making a mold would be easier to deal with. That way you could then glass some sections in the stock shape but then get creative on other parts.

well im going to be doing it piece by piece while making some things dif. but keeping most normal, i just need some pics and maybe a few tips about this

Check out JL audio's tutorials. They've recently posted some articles about making/using molds. They are a little advanced though.
