my friend said he will sell me his 2 12 inch rockford punchs, and a rockford 800w amp for 200 bucks, should i buy it....will it sound decent in a rex in the right size sealed enclosure?

 

Sounds like a fair price. Who knows what it will sound like; Pyramid will sound good in a decent enclosure.

 

well it sounds pretty good in his car for 2 12s, but he said he just paid 350 for the amp. i think i will buy it, it would be nice until i can get the 2 alpine type r's i want.

 

Is the amp punch or power? But i guess the deal is not too bad.
If you're going to go with another setup. Why not just take that 200 and put it toward the setup you want.

 

cuz i need something for now, im broke as hell and cant reall afford the set up i want, i need to get some body work done, so i just need some bump till i get some cash, couple months maybe, i might just keep it tho if it sounds good. i dunno about the amp it looks like all the other rf amps ive seen...

but either way im getting a good deal right? i know it sounds good in his car ...the sq is decent and i can hear him bout 5 cars back at a light
