Default Various Questions about 3rd gen Accord

Hi these questions are for an 87 Hatchback:
1. What is the wheel bolt pattern.
2. Any other common cars have the same pattern.
3. I need to replace the taillights, what is a good aftermarket dealer for them(modified or stock)
4. There is some rust rot on the gas filler tube, anywhere to get one of these. Also is there a conversion to a modern vented cap tube.
5. The accord is basically a lengthened 3rd gen prelude right(I used to have one)
6. Whats a good spark plug for it, I'm leaning toward NGK or Bosch Platinum
Thanks!

1. What is the wheel bolt pattern.
4x100 do not know proper offset

2. Any other common cars have the same pattern.
Civics, Sentras, and a whole lot more.

3. I need to replace the taillights, what is a good aftermarket dealer for them(modified or stock)
hit up the junkyards

4. There is some rust rot on the gas filler tube, anywhere to get one of these. Also is there a conversion to a modern vented cap tube.
not sure of a conversion, but junkyards are your friend

5. The accord is basically a lengthened 3rd gen prelude right(I used to have one)
honestly not to sure on if they shared motors, someone else can help you here.

6. Whats a good spark plug for it, I'm leaning toward NGK or Bosch Platinum
I run ngks in my 4th gen, I change them every 10,000 miles.

I hope this might help, anyone else correct me if I am wrong on my answers.

i'd stay away from Bosch on this car. Run NGK's or OEM Denso's (all availible at Autozone/kragen) for best results/power/smoothness. Rule of thumb -

Japanese car? Japanese plugs! German car? German plugs! Domestic car? Mexican plugs!

Not sure I agree with the logic on the plugs , but sure I'll go NGK I know thay're a good plug and thay're a far cry cheaper than Bosch's.

Yup, the 3rd Gen Prelude Si came with the same 2.0 fi engine, they also look the same underneath making me think they're the same car with slight differences. I'd love for the hood to flip forward like the old Lude.

Think it'd be ok to run Full Synthetic 5w30 year round, in temperate climate?

Like was said before...
1.4x100 bolt pattern 40mm Offset
2.Civics, Integras (except Type-R), 83-91 Preludes, some VWs, and nissans
3.There are no modified tailights available, go to a junkyard and get some with new OEM gaskets
4. not sure... all of mine dont have rust there
5.The 86-89 Accord is basically a longer 83-87 Prelude. The 88-91 Prelude has a different engine and it is mounted differently. the 2nd gen prelude has the same engine and same mounts.
6. dont use anything but NGK

Also, check out http://www.3geez.com it is an 86-89Accord Messageboard
