Can you use disc brakes from 91 integra GS on 89 CRX DX?
I'm thinking of transplanting my drivetrain from my 91 integra into a 89 CRX DX. Could I use the front and rear disc brake assembly from the integra to convert and upgrade the CRX brakes?

for the rear you need the trailing arms and the hub, disks, lines, and PARKING CABLE.
its not necessary but suggested you pick up the proportioning valve and booster

For Front Use the steering knuckle, caliper, and rotor. DO NOT USE upper arm it will throw off the aligment severly. For the rear you will need entire rear trailing arm, rotor, caliper, and Parking cable from a 91 CRX SI. As for the mastercylinder and vacuum Booster, and portioning valve, they will bolt in. If you need pics or more info please let me know ok.

Did you notice a big difference in the braking power? I'm only gonna be making around 160whp. You think it'll be necessary?

i think the stock size is 9.1" and the integra is 10.2"
going a full inch bigger should give you noticeably braking power. more so if you carry over the braking components from the donor car. i personally think it should perform very well for 160whp.
but thats just my opinion

Well I live in Lousiana and wwe have a some stupid *** drivers, So I love having bigger brakes. Yes you will notice a big Fu(king difference. I'm sure u seen my mods i have listed. Yes it can handle all the whp you throw at. Remember you have a small wheel base, and a smaller car, so the brakes that are stock for a bigger car are 10x more effective on a smaller car.
