Default SIR headlight. Looking for h4h hids.

Hey everyone, I am looking for H4H HIDS. Anyone know where I can get a set? I already tried searching, but no one has seemed to know where to get a set.

If u cant find the H4 HID's or if they end up being too expensive, u can use the 9006 HID kit. It will work and it is nice and bright, the thing is though u will not have a high beam, but since there is sooo much extra light anyway, u shouldnt need them. I am currently using the 9006 philips HID's on my SIR headlight housings and the results are great. Slight modification is needed to get the bulbs to sit in the housing right, but nothing major. Just letting u know of other options....

You can also run a regular H4 Hid in your siR housings. That is what I'm running right now without any problems. Just make sure that you bind the bulbs down with the metal tab that is in the back of the headlight.

Does he have the SIR headlights that need to use H4h? the TL light is just a regular H4.

EF8 Fan why dont u give me ur email so i can send u the pic....its kinda big. My HIDS are the ones ( i think ) that are the temp jus below the VERY purple lookin ones and i already have a pic of them turned on but for some reason they turned out green???? it looks weird but i will take another pic. Mine have a slight purplish tint when on after a few seconds, but very noticeable when u first turn them on. Or better yet, u got AIM?, if so gimme ur sn.

i got a local guy here in f-burg, 22401, that'll pu hid's in for 250 or a lil more. That includes everything. His boy gets them from his audi dealership, they come in "Broke" and cleans the wires up and they work but because it's under warranty, they replace them rather then ******* w/ them. He had them in his '92 hatch and they were sick. He's putting them in my 90 hatch once i get the car to him.

So, you are running JDM headlights that use the h4h bulb but with H4 HID's? The base of the H4 bulb is thicker than the base of the h4h bulb. Show me a pic of yours.

Correct, I don't have any pictures but the bulb will fit just fine into the JDM Crx headlight housing. The only thing that I've noticed that is bigger about the H4 bulb is the metal tab that is around the base. This means that you have to wedge the U.S. H4 bulb in while the H4h bulb goes straight in.

I might be able to get a HID kit that will fit the H4H bulbs for the JDM headlights.
it will come with 10,000K and 75000K. they are made by a division of Sanyo electronics. the balastic to the unit, all made by Sanyo.

Let me know. might start a Group buy.

if you can, get some 4500 bulbs. most people think the higher you go, the brighter it is. but, thats not true w/ the HID, the color changes, but you'll actually lose some lumens w/ a higher "temperature" rating. 4500k is the best

i tried to wedge the h4 bulb in last night, but they do not stay in place and you cant clip it down. is it possible for you to take a pic of yours?

I can get 4500k no problem. of course color changes after 4500K since it is still white. beyond that the brightest like is blue. it looks blue from the outside, but is pretty white from the inside while you are driving.
if you didn't realize, the porsche's has a blueish tint when they drive by, or most new HID that come from factory.

I am not trying to argue with anybody nor to put down anyone's opinion, but we compare to the new audi A4, S2000, the 10,oook has no comparison. it put the stock HID into shame.
