B16a1 into 92-95 Civic.
Asking for a friend of mine. I have a 95 civic coupe, B16a1 motor with ecu(OBD0). The harness on the B16a1 is hacked, should use the 95 civic harness, or some other harness?? I know I will have to get a new plug to connect to the OBD0 ecu, anyone have a wiring diagram of the JDM B16a1 ecu plug?

Your easiest and cheapest way would be to get a CRX/Civic Si 88-91 harness.
All you have to do is add the wires for VTEC and the second o2 sensor...
If you have any questions you can email me.

Hey just my opinion on this . Because i tried to do it. The b16a1 can go into the EG but its not worth the money. (in my opinion).. you do u realize you will need to buy
New mounts
Hydro tranny (or run a cable through the fire wall and buy a crx pedal set)
OBD1 harness
OBD1 Distributor
most likely new water pump/timing belt/alternator
new oBD1 ECU
linkage
B series header.. blah blah blah
the a1 i bought was a piece of **** so i just ended up going Second gen LSD tranny... .. good luck!

No......That would be stupid....The OBD1 cars make more power and have a smoother curve. That is why I sell OBD0-OBD1 conversion harness. Anyways.....Here is what you need. You need the OBD1 harness, OBD1 P30 or P72 ecu, OBD1 injectors, and a OBD1 distributor. You have to get these pieces!!!! Then you have to decide what to do with that hydro trans. Email me if you need wiring help.

Okay thanks, so just keep the factory harness(add needed wires). Will the plugs on the obd1 harness plug into the b16a1? Or will I have to cut and solder them?
The plugs will fit. Make sure that you run a OBD1 distributor. The pins in the distributor line up with the ones in the OBD1 harness. All the plugs will work fine.

I have a conversion harness that i would love to sell to you for the ecm. 150 obo. mail me if interested. I just used a Del Slo ecm for 1300$ cause I didn't want to mess with it. Oh well that's the price you pay for a sir motor.
