Tough to start after sitting in hot sun??
My '90 Honda Accord DX is difficult to start after sitting in the hot FL sun from 7:00am (arrival at work) to 4:30 (depart from work). It starts fine in the morning after being in the garage, or at other times of year when the temp is not as hot. I had the same problem last year when the weather was hot
, took it into a garage and described the problem - they checked it out and said they had no trouble starting it (i.e. nothing was fixed). The problem did not occur at all over the winter and spring months - just this week now that the outside temp is over 85 degrees I am having trouble starting the car when trying to leave work after it has sat all day. When I do have trouble, I let it sit for >5 min and then try again to start it. Sometimes it takes me almost 30 min to get it started.
Anyone else experience a similar problem?
Any suggestions or thoughts would be welcome.
