Default Alternator Belt Part No & Cost

I had a look at the alternator belt on my 96 JDM DC2 last night, and it looks a little unhealthy anyway i have a couple of questions :-

1. Does anyone have the part no? I just phoned my dealer and they want £26! which is about $60 - expensive imo so I want to make sure they get the right part.

2. Why do all my belts have mitsubishi printed all over them! do Honda fit Mitsubishi belts OEM?

Regards,

Ben.

I cant believe that belt can cost that much.

It doesn't say Mitsubishi, unless the dye guy can't spell.

31110-P72-0041

Might be the same for GS-R's and ITR's.

Just look on the belt and it'll give you the circumference of the belt in mm's. ie: 4PK785 - 4 rib, 785mm

I wouldn't be surprised if the belts were indeed from Mitsu. I've seen Mitsu timing/etc. belts on many other Japanese vehicles. Mitsu belts are also used widely on many industrial equipments.

I must not be up to par on the insider nihongo-ese b/c every time I look at the belt, it says Mitsuboshi.

Are they the same company?
