Been looking off and on for a bra for my '97 R. After my last lapping day I took home a few battle scars that I would like to minimize as much as possible.

Are there any '97 R owners selling their bra? And can any '94-'97 bra work? I know the ITR one has a fancy "Integra Type-R" logo, but I'm not using it for the stunna apeal, just the function.

I'd put this in the classifieds but because it may be (not sure) ITR specific, I'd like to keep it here...thanks mods

And yes, for those amused by the subject, I did say bra.

 

just a little curious, what function does a bra serve....protecting paint from chips? isnt that the epitomy of being a stunna?

Any 94-97 bra won't work, you have to get the ITR specific one since the ITR has a lip. The other bra's won't fit over that lip and plus it's pretty expensive brand new from the dealer

 

i have a 97 bra used only twice..but has a rip at the corner end..thought it would fit my 98..but it doesn't..let me kno..

Back to the topic though (almost). I've never fully understood the use of a car bra. Personally I think they are hideous and find it ironic that peeps use something that is ugly to keep the car looking nice. It's like you would be better off just putting up with the chips/scratches because at the end of the day they still look better than a bra!

Although if you only use it at the track then that is totally understandable. Not that my opinion really matters!

 

I agree, having a big black piece of fabric on the front of your car doesn't exactly make me drool. It would only be for the track.

 

i got the factory leather bra off my 96 gsr... It's yours for 35 bucks plus what ever shipping is. if your really interested let me know I can snap some pics, develop them, and scan them on my computer.

Anyone know if they make a JDM bra for JDM front ends...Bras aren't popular here so can't find them....it'd be nice to have a half face bra for my car.

 

I was interested in picking one up for road trips and track events, but its up to each person to justify the cost. Plus you can't leave it on that long since the paint, could fade differently under the bra.

All in all, I thin it would be a decent investment

 

so whos itr wears the biggest bra here?
