Default B&M Fuel guage, where do you have yours?

Hey guys, just wondering where you have your guage installed on your accord. It says to install it on the fuel filter, but on the 5th gen accord, you wont be able to see the damn thing if you install it there. Last summer I tried to install the guage on the fuel rail, but the bolt broke in the rail even when I torqued it. I got a new one from them and am going to install it this summer. You guys have any creative/good places to put it? I just have the stock rail. Maybe some adapter or something.....

thanks!

If you are using the stock fuel rail then the only place to install it is on the to of the fuel filter. If you have the AEM rail then you can use a 90 degree angle with the gauge screwed into it that is the only option that i can think of.

Mine is on top of my fuel filter. But I had to relocate the vacuum control box over a couple inches because it was in the way.

Is that just the main fuel line that you guys tapped into? My main fuel line is already has a T for the nitrous setup on my h22. Is it ok to put another T there? Any problems with the fuel delivery system?

What size fittings are those? Thats a better idea than putting it on the fuel rail where the banjo is, even though it fits there. Also, I should put the T for the nitrous before the T for the fuel guage correct?

No problems here. Yes mine is in my main line to the fuel rail. Im not sure about putting two t's in there though. Wouldnt see it causing a problem. I want to say they are 5/16" t and 5/16" barbed fittings. Dont qoute me on the size though. Just take the gauge with you to a parts store they should have what you need.

They don't make a 190 fuel pump for the accord you neeed to get a 250or 250 hp let me know if you need on and I can't get you a price on it for you, but to answer your question it would be a good mod to do since you have never changed it.

I've got mine mounted on the stock fuel rail. My mechanic made an adapter. It's probably not as nice as having it mounted on an aftermarket rail, but it's sticks straight up so you can see it. Don't ask me how he did it, I guess he thought it was supposed to go there, and decided to find a way to make it work.

You use the pressure guage when your using an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

because turbocharged car need higher psi of fuel pressure.
38psi stock to 58-60 psi at idle, different from car and applications of course.

Um..more fuel for turbo car, less for stock.
same concept i guess...lol

wish i can help
