tried to go for a test drive. I walked to their arriving department in the rear where they wash the cars and saw two black R's, the 00-01 Model, 1 with red recaros and wingless the other just another regular black R. Then i saw the RSX's, they had all regular ones except for one silver TypeS. Boy did it look nice, it had chrome rims and a underbody spoiler kit. The salesman said the wing alone costs $995.95. I asked to go for a test drive but they didnt even have the keys to the car yet.

Heres the getter, another salesman walked up to me and offered me 20G's for my car right there cuz he had a buyer looking for an ITR and offered me 24G's flat for the Type-S w/o TTL. Man i was so tempted but oh well.

I'm probably gonna go back to go for a test drive, but the brochure sure looks cool

Well, ya had Me on the edge of my seat. 20K huh? Wow that makes me wonder too. I think I'll take one for a ride soon too just for fun. Besides my wife is interested in the Cl Type-S anyways. So I get a free trip to the showroom for some fun, He He He...

PS Theres a guy on SHO who says and posted that he just recieved his RSX today! He seems very proud and tells all about the cars appearance but, nothing about driving impressions, I'm kinda skepticle. Can you drive one off the lot right now? Thanks...

 

well the salesman said that someone put a big deposit on one of the blue ones there and that he was supposed to drive it off the lot today but who knows, everyone knows that most salesmen are clueless to the cars they're selling anyways.

Keep in mind that the $20K the salesman offered to you is going to help pay off your car. Then you'll have to add another $24K and finance that.

Of course this only pertains to you if you finance the car. And if you just recently had the car, chances are you'll have negative equity. Unless our ITR's hold such a strong resale value.

So don't fall for little dealer tricks like that...although it might sound good, in the end, you gave up your car to them for free so you could buy a new Type S at $24K.

 

I had someone at a dealership offer me $20k for my 1998 last year...couldn't do it though.
