Have a 98 'lude, want a 99-01 prelude logo in front grill
I like how the 99-01 preludes say "prelude" in the front grill. On my year there is just a middle piece in the grill. Where can I get that piece?

Anyone have that for sale?

The bloody thing costs $120 for the grille and $40 for the emblem. If my friend hadn't pre-ordered w/o telling me I would of never bought it (though i did get his shop discount... )

hahahaha....i got into a front end accident and in my '00 prelude and request for the older grill....
didn't think people actually liked the "criss cross" pattern

Wow... I never realized that the 99-01 grills had that criss-cross pattern in there. I thought it was just "empty" and then the little prelude logo was connected in there somehow.
So, I think i'm gonna take out the middle piece of my grill and put the "prelude" logo which I ordered from HondaAutomotiveParts.com (thanks 93vtec!) in there somehow.
If anyone is wondering where to get that little embelm, they sell it under the EMBLEMS section of their website and it's about $25. I'll post pics when i'm done... it should look sweet.

just to let you know, your project doesn't sound so easy.
the prelude logo is screwed onto the grill by 2 screws, and other than that, there's no other way it can be easily fasten onto something. from what i've seen, it looks pretty impossible to attach to the older grill, given that there's no drill holes and also not enough surface create these drill holes. just want to give you a heads up. good luck

I kinda would rather the cross hatch pattern......my double horizontal grill just says, "I was designed in 1995"
But I can see what you meen, the cross hatch pattern says,"HI, I borrowed the grill off my dads 97 f-150 for the weekend"
To each their own.
to both for a good design
