WTB: Honda CBR600F1 basketcase
I'm actually a car guy, but I'm posting this for a friend. He had a sort of freak bike accident that didn't actually involve him on the bike during the accident...and he wants to get to riding again.
The engine appears to be fine, but the frame is bent up quite a bit.
He's looking for a CBR600F1 basketcase (or shell...dunno what you guys call a bike with a busted engine/no engine) to transfer the engine to.
Does anybody have one/know where we can find one? Are we approaching this correctly?
Thanks,
Justin Chou

Not to hijack this thread, but...
Is it possible to repair a bent frame? I bought my 600F1 with a small bend near the rear suspension joint. The bike is still stable to 100+mph, but I'm interested in getting it fixed. Not worth swapping everything to a new frame, though.
